•A design of steel making tundish for better inclusion floatation.

This design is different from conventional design, by attaching the shroud separately to the tundish. The objective of the invention is inclusion flotation and separation and also to maintain the interior of the tundish, as the molten metal will come out from new lower inlet. Previously the molten metal impinges from the ladle through shroud on the bottom surface of the tundish and in this way reducing its effective manufacturing life and leading to tundish degradation.
•I did a 4 weeks training in the Turbine Maintenance Division at Harduaganj Thermal Power Plant.
